I am an avid gardener and am re-visiting the use of leaves in my work.  These leaves came from a tree in my yard. The leaves' veins show nicely.  This platter has a coggled edge (crimped edge like a pie shell). Signed and dated September 8, 2024, "sunny - fall is on the way" Geranium 14" wide x 9 3/4" tall x  1 3/8" deep.  Arrives gift boxed. * Slabbed and slump molded * Leaves were rolled onto the clay's surface * Bisque-fired, glazed, and fired again in an electric kiln * Hand-washing is recommended and then place back on display to allow air to circulate around the piece. You are displaying it aren't you?
