This folk art pottery is handmade in a 250+ year-old stone house. Each plate begins as a lump of red earthenware clay that is rolled flat with a rolling pin and then cut to fit the mold. The design is created using the slip-trailing technique where slip is drawn over the red earthenware making each piece one-of-a-kind.
Sizes are close to true but the color may be slightly different than your monitor display. All plates have a shiny finish, are food safe and are ready to be shipped gift boxed.
